Description:
In total, there were five classes (degrees) in the Order of the Knights of the Holy Sepulcher of Jerusalem:
1st class (degree), consisted of a sign worn on a black moire ribbon over the right shoulder, an order neck chain and a star attached to a cassock, uniform or civil dress on the left side.
2 class (degree), consisted of a sign worn on a black moire ribbon over the right shoulder and a star attached to a cassock, uniform or civil dress on the left side.
3rd class (degree), consisted of a sign worn on a black moiré ribbon around the neck and a star attached to a cassock, uniform or civil dress on the left side.
Class 4 (degree), consisted of a sign worn on a black moire ribbon worn around the neck.
Class 5 (degree), consisted of a badge worn on a black moire ribbon worn around the neck (a badge smaller than grade 4).

The award was presented in a solemn atmosphere, with an accompanying document in a box. The award provided for its tail-coat miniature versions.
