Acala, known as the "Immovable One," embodies the fierce determination to protect the faithful and eliminate obstacles on the path to enlightenment. His stern expression, with furrowed brows and fangs, represents his role in subduing evil and guiding believers. The statue features Acala holding a trident sword in his right hand, symbolizing the severing of ignorance and desires, while his left hand grasps a lasso, used to bind and control demons. The figure is accented with gold detailing, created using a traditional mixture of gold powder and lacquer, adding an aura of divine power. There are signs of wear consistent with age, including minor scratches, discoloration, and lacquer chipping. The right arm shows traces of an adhesive repair. The sword is detachable as originally intended; however, the part that slots into the figure is partially broken, making it easier to dislodge than it would have been in its original condition.
