Jan Teunissen - Apple trio (glicee)

This reproduction (glicee) of "Appeltrio" has the same dimensions as the original painting and is framed in a white, single-width, finished, corner frame of approx. 10 cm. The glicee is glued onto a panel and therefore has an identical appearance to the original painting and is very difficult to distinguish from it.

In his paintings - oil on panel - the artist strives for a realistic representation, mainly still lifes placed in an atmosphere such as claire obscur. His love for animals, mostly birds, is also reflected in his oeuvre.

The painter mainly concentrates on details, light and reflections.

Depictions in his work are usually not depicted larger than they actually are, which means that the works of art deserve a subtly chosen place. A place where, for example, you can enjoy a moment while cooking or before sitting on the couch.

For several years in a row, his work has been presented during Art Revolution Taipei in the WTC there and at X-Power gallery in Taipei. In India, the artist exhibited his work in Mumbai and Calcutta during the Calcutta Art Biennale and at Gallery Gold.

In the Netherlands and Belgium, his work can be seen and purchased at several galleries and has been exhibited and sold in countries such as Belgium, Germany, France, Hong Kong, India, Italy, New Zealand, Oman, Russia, Taiwan and Qatar.

Jan Teunissen may bear the title of “Master of Realism”.
