se resuelve el envío de un escritorio de 160cm Madrid-Bruselas, con trasporte privado, ¡por 135€! cualquiera mínimamente informado sabe que 135€ sería un buen precio para la ruta Madrid-Barcelona; no digamos ya a Bélgica, adonde una tarifa razonable rondaría los 500€. el escritorio se desmonta en elementos planos, que se embalan por separado, perfectamente protegidos e identificados, y se atan con cinta en un bloque compacto, asegurando que ninguna pieza se arañe, descuelgue o pierda. lo que esta clienta califica como un mal embalaje, otros clientes han elogiado expresamente por meticuloso y eficaz. en efecto, el escritorio llegó sin un rasguño. una pieza usada naturalmente que viene sin manual de instrucciones, pero apretar sus 4 tornillos está al alcance de cualquiera, o debería. resulta desmoralizante que el enorme esfuerzo de embalaje y organización que hacemos para resolver este envío a un precio inverosímil sea recompensado con comentarios tan laxos e inconsecuentes.

the private transport of a large item by road is not arranged as fast as a courier service. a suitable transporter coincidentally doing such route has to be found. there are ways, indeed, to solve it faster, but for a price 3 or 4 times higher. a little patience and understanding is required from the buyers and from the Catawiki support team. if a claim is filed immediately for an order like this, the most likely outcome is that Catawiki will blindly cancel the order before the collection can possibly be made. as it happened here, with the disappointment and loss of time for everyone involved. of course we regularly solve dozens of deliveries around Europe, but always in more reasonable and constructive circumstances.

our packaging method has been shaped through many experiences. it is designed so that the product always arrives unharmed, even when harsh shipment conditions damage the outer box. we cannot control the kind of handling that transport companies subject our parcels to, but we are confident of the structure and internal protection of our parcels. thank you for your feedback, we are always improving our processes.

tardamos 6 días en preparar y enviar el paquete, con un fin de semana de por medio, entre los más de 100 lotes de distintas subastas que procesamos simultáneamente al suyo. cada cliente sólo tiene su pedido en el que pensar, pero nosotros tenemos cientos, que resolvemos diligentemente con nuestros mejores esfuerzos. esperamos que disfrute de su compra.

this feedback was posted with no prior notification or claim to us. with hundreds of items in hundreds of orders, quality defects in new products can sometimes appear, which we always and promptly solve. we are happily providing the buyer with a replacement. but buyers should learn already to issue claims in good faith and use the feedback responsibly. a negative feedback should be the last resource when a seller has failed to solve a problem.
