Trois Rivières 1969 - Vieux Rhum de Plantation - b. 1992 - 70 cl

When you're passionate about the history of rum, it's with great emotion that you contemplate a bottle like this...
It takes us back to the 1960s, when Trois Rivières rums were produced in the original distillery. A very old distillery, the first traces of which date back to 1660! At the time, it was located near the commune of Sainte-Luce in Martinique.
It stopped smoking in 2003, and the distillation columns, which had been preserved, were transferred to the nearby La Mauny distillery in Rivière Pilote. This has enabled the production of Trois Rivières brand rums to continue.
So this 1969 vintage was indeed produced at the historic distillery, a few decades before it closed.
Collectors will admire its beautiful vintage label and bow before this last vestige of a distant past!
This vintage has been kept in a cellar since it was purchased, with very little evaporation and no deposits to be found.
