Rarity remark: This coin with a mintage of 331.669 ex. is in itself quite rare. However, when triangular spikes on the halberds are visible on the reverse at the bottom of the shield - the so-called ”puntali sagomati” - then this is considered to be an extremely rare variety (cfr. Gigante 2024, page 220), with the Gigante catalogue giving R4 as a rarity index and no value indication.
