In 1985, at the Basel Watch Fair, to the amazement of the entire audience, the Astrolabium was presented,. The Astrolabium, a watch that paid homage to the astrophysicist Galileo Galilei and enclosed within it a very complicated mechanism-never before had a universe with Sun, Moon and stars been enclosed within such a small instrument as a watch

In 1985, owner , was on the brink of bankruptcy, and Rolf W. Schnyder launched the "Time Trilogy" series to save this legendary watch brand.
The first watch in the trilogy was introduced in 1985- the Astrolabe Galileo watch is essentially an astrolabe clock worn on the wrist. It is designed to indicate the position of the sun, moon, and stars anywhere on Earth.
It can also specify complex astronomy such as sunrise/sunset, moon phase, and solar eclipse.
It is very complex, breaking the record in the history of watches and was included in the Guinness World Records in 1989.

This piece has been in the same family for over 35 years, and was one of the only 3 watches sold in Spain in Barcelona. Press and documents testify this piece of history.
