An antique Yerbe Mate, originating from Latin/south America.
Comprising of three objects, the silver stand, the silver straw and the silver rimmed wooden egg shaped mate.
This object was traditionally used to drink a special tea in the south/latin america regions. The round bottom of the silver straw was used to hold the leafs down whilst allowing the user to drink the tea through the filter holes In the bottom of the straw.
