Medizinisches Instrument - Mahagoni - Magneto-Elektromaschine
Rare 19th century Victorian Patent Magneto Electro Machine for Nervous Diseases in mahogany box. A wooden winding handle attaches to the front of the box and turns the coil inside which, next to a large magnet, induces the current. The machine still has the original paper instruction label attached to the inside of the lid and comes with two brass probes. Untested, it is being sold as a decorative object rather than an accurate scientific instrument. A well preserved example of Victorian medical instrument.
The box has the original lock but the key is missing. In good condition with natural signs of use age related.
