‘Draadjesschaal’ is a one-of-a-kind glass object.

This object consists of a free blown shape with glass threads, which were spined around and melted into the vessel. The threads captivate the light making it a showstopper in any interior.

Handmade and blown by the Dutch artist Bibi Smit.

When placed near a window, this object unveils an iconic beautiful shadow.

Bibi Smit (Netherlands, 1965) is an artist known for creating sculptures that explore the beauty and powerful force of nature. By being able to control all processes in the glassblowing studio, her work shows an acute attention to detail and technique. She lives and works in Loosdrecht.
