Avó Sabica 2004 is an Alentejo wine produced only in exceptional years, from grapes grown exclusively in a vineyard with poor granite soils. In order to plant it, it was necessary to use dynamite to remove rocky outcrops, and some of these stones were used to drain a watercourse. With a water table 3-4 metres deep, conserving water provides the vine with the water it needs to properly complete the entire vegetative cycle, especially maturation.
After the combined fermentation of the Trincadeira, Aragonez and Alicante Bouschet grapes in truncated-conical vats with strict temperature control, they are aged for around 14 months in new 225L French oak barrels, and at least 3 years in the bottle in a climate-controlled chamber.

The first Avó Sabica to be produced was from the 2004 harvest, This wine has been completely sold out on the market for many years, a unique opportunity to acquire these bottles.
Esporão Garrafeira 1999 This wine is very rare, Esporão Private Selection was only launched in 2000, before that Esporão had another wine that had the name Garrafeira until 1999, it was the predecessor of Private Selection.
Pera Manca wine is an icon of Alentejo and Portugal. This 2009 wine has been sold out in the wine cellar for a long time. Don't miss out on this unique opportunity.
The batch consists of:
1 Esporão garrafeira 1999
