Here we offer a perfect recreation in every detail of the helmet of legendary actor Steve McQueen, it’s exactly the same as the one McQueen used during filming the epic movie Le mans in 1971. This helmet is recreated off Steve's helmet from 1970, the helmet is Snell approved and therefor it could be used for high speed motor sports back in the seventies. The helmet is in perfect condition and has still has it’s original interiour.
The Le Mans movie was filmed during the annual 24-hour endurance race at Le Mans, France, in 1970, this fast-paced drama follows Michael Delaney (Steve McQueen), a Porsche driver haunted by the memory of an accident at the previous year's race in which a competing driver was killed. To top things off, Delaney also finds himself increasingly infatuated with the man's widow (Elga Andersen).
