Powerful Yoruba divination cup representing a priestess on her knees holding a bowl to collect offerings for divination.
Her hairstyle is the one a young bride and presents some appealing remains of indigo polychromy.
She has the 3 "Kpélé" vertical scarifications on both cheeks and her opulent chest is projected forward as a symbol of fertility.
A Yoruba necklace with ancient beads embellishes the scene right above Koranic amulets carved on both sides of her body.
The theme of the cup bearer is still frequently used today in Yoruba culture linked to their divinities called "Orishas". Depending on the offering, the priest may perform different types of divination.

Courier: Very cautiously packed and secured inside a professional parcel (double layer carton box, item wrapped inside small and large bubbles, well positionned in the center of the parcel and properly blocked by polystyrene flocks, fragile sticker all over the parcel).
