A GREAT VINTAGE

The 2016 vintage stands out for its great balance. A subtle balance between rain and sun, which led to a perfect maturation of the grapes and gave life to a wine of great thickness, elegance and finesse.

That of balance is a cardinal point not only of our vision of viticulture but, more generally, of any activity that revolves around the lagoon. A place, this, where the human and natural elements have always lived harmoniously, and where human ingenuity has led to the respectful and forward-looking management of the element that represents it here: water.

The balance is also what the Dorona found inside our Mazzorbo estate. A balance that arises from the tenacity of the grape variety in adapting to extraordinary environmental conditions and that results in a condition of perfect symbiosis with the lagoon ecosystem - its terroir of origin.

The result is a unique wine in the world that, in the 2016 vintage, becomes an expression and quintessence of native Venice.
