Seeschnecke - Versteinerte Muschel - Amazing Over Half Meter Campanile Lachesis, 56,5 cm, Eocene, 45MYO, BULGARIA - 21 cm

Extremely rare fossil snail over half meter specimen (Calpanile Lachesis ) with rarely wide head from Southern Coast of Black Sea , Kraymorie, Bulgaria.

It belongs to Tertiary (40-45 MYO) from the Kraymorie formation on the Southern coast of Black Sea.
While in good condition , it’s lenght reaches approximately 56,5 cm as the length of the specimen measured from end to end outside the fossil is approximately 64 cm.
We guess that this beautiful Campanile Lachesis is female since the head is extremely wide ( 21cm ) and only female specimens have this size.
.Large fossils of this genus are extremely rare ,as the Kraymorie formation is the only source in the world with such a quality and specimens with this caliber. This makes Campanile Lachesis highly valuable for the fossil record , and several renowned museums around the world have already taken possession of such specimens of our dealership.

This fossil is worthy of museums or private collections.
