Highly Collectable low print run, and rare first edition with the crediting of ‘Joanne Rowling’ and not ‘J. K. Rowling’ on the copyright page
A very rare early print and original genuine Ted Smart publication, 1998, with crediting of author name ‘Joanne Rowling’ not ‘J. K. Rowling’ on the copyright page. This copy shows the 'Young Dumbledor Wizard' on the spine and back cover (the first few prints featured this wizard on the cover, this was later changed to the white haired one).
This copy is UK First Edition, third impressions, with many of the original errors. Printed in UK by Clays Ltd. ‘Winner of the 1997 Smarties Gold Award’ on the edge of the front cover. Cover illustrations by Thomas Taylor.
The book in very good condition. Firm and well-bound. Light wear to corners of the covers. Nice and clean pages. No remainder mark, and has no former owners’ name (A collectable Edition).
