Podernovi si presenta di colore rosso rubino non troppo carico, con leggeri riflessi granati. Al naso evidenzia aromi floreali di viola, ciclamino e gelsomino, note di frutta fresca e richiami speziati. In bocca è bilanciato, ha buona struttura e acidità, il tannino è levigato e mostra ottima persistenza.
