The Commemorative Medal for the Liberation of Southern Hungary ( Hungarian: Délvidéki Emlékérem ) is an award of the Kingdom of Hungary during World War II .
The medal was established on September 4, 1941 by Regent Miklós Horthy to award military, police and gendarmerie officers who participated in military operations on the territory of the Kingdom of Yugoslavia during the Balkan campaign and the occupation of the captured territories of Bačka , Baranya , Prekmurje and Međimurje that had passed to Hungary .

Commemorative medal "For the Liberation of Northern Transylvania". Original name of the award in Hungarian; Erdélyi Emlékérem. Kingdom of Hungary. Established on October 1, 1940. Awarded to soldiers and officers of the Hungarian army units, as well as employees of the Hungarian gendarmerie for participation in the readmission of the territory of Northern Transylvania to Hungary (the territory was taken from Romania) by the decision of the 2nd Vienna Congress of August 30, 1940.

During the reign of the regent of the Hungarian kingdom Miklós Horthy (1920-1944).
