This bird was in fact not designed by the Eames, but an 'objet trouvé' from one of their many journeys. A treasured figurine that always appeared, vigilant, in the many pictures taken at the Eames house, of their domestic and experimental life. Besides a beautiful object, it is an emblem of the Eames production and the whole Vitra catalogue.
This item currently retails over 290€ depending on the country.
This item has some minor marks, easily reparable. It will be shipped with extra protection.

Bij uitpakken bleek de kap beschadigd. Er zit een deuk in de rand ; de stang van de lamp zat tegen de kap zonder enige beschermende piepschuim of ander materiaal. Ik heb meteen een bericht gestuurd.
