Maison Ruinart was founded in 1729, when Nicolas Ruinart, exploiting the intuition of his uncle, a Benedictine monk in Reims, founded the Maison which still bears his name today. Today Ruinart is part of the LVMH group and is one of the most renowned producers of Champagne in the world. In the Maison Ruinart, Champagne is a product of the earth, which respects the harmony of nature and treats the fruits it offers with delicacy. The aromatic Chardonnay grape is the basis of all the cuvées and its grapes derive mainly from the Côte des Blancs and the Montagne de Reims.
