Expert tasting note: (2023 vintage) "The opaque, purple-red color holds well to the rim. Aromas of rich black-cherries predominate. The palate is rich & opulent with powerful dark-plum & dark-cherry fruit overlaying beautifully polished oak. The wine has lovely fresh acidity. The mid-palate displays chocolatey notes & rich, raisined elements. The fine structure has chalky smoothness & supple velvety tannins that give a fine grip on the long finish." - 04/24 (ep) DCAMW

It belongs to the Pessac-Léognan appellation, to the north of the Graves wine-growing region.
