Some tears and wears to original golden brown varnish, some small repairs
Description:
Good quality straight high grained spruce was chosen for the top, and the maple of the two pieces back with beautiful grain is strongly flamed. Matched sides, neck and scroll. The purfling is a tasteful work of good craftsmanship, just as the shining, golden brown varnish. The whole length of the violin is 550 mm and the back 332 mm. The width of the upper bouts: 154 mm; middle bouts: 108 mm; lower bouts: 190 mm. 3/4 size.
