Arne Jacobsen’s Cylinda-line series for Stelton, launched in 1967, became an immediate success, winning both Danish and international design awards in the late 1960s. His innovative use of lightly brushed, seamless stainless steel in pure, clean cylindrical forms was a sensation and has remained popular ever since. Cylinda-line items are featured in many international design museums, for example being included in the permanent collections at both MoMA in New York and the V&A in London. A true Danish design classic and perfect example of Scandinavian minimalism.
For sale, a complete designer bar-set from Stelton, in mint condition (new-in-box). This elegant set consists of 5 iconic Stelton products from the Cylinda-Line and Classic collections, each of which, individually and collectively, is an indispensable accessory in any bar.
The set consists of:
- Ice tongs (W:4.4 cm, L:19 cm, H:2.4 cm; 86 g), cocktail mixer spoon (L:24 cm) and drinks coasters (8.5 cm) by Arne Jacobsen
- bottle opener (W:4 cm, L:12.5 cm, H:9 cm; 103 g), and cocktail/spirit measure (3 cl.; 1 oz.) by leading designer and Stelton Managing Director Peter Holmblad.
Elegant serving of home-made cocktails is easy with this bar-set. All parts are produced in satin polished stainless steel. The set comes in original packaging, only opened in order to photograph.

Hi. I was surprised to receive your neutral feedback. I was not aware that you thought there was a problem, as you have not contacted and have not tried to see if we can resolve the issue. The barometer was not sold as being flawless, it was sold as "near-mint" which I believe is an accurate description. There were 25 close-up pictures of the barometer. In addition, I pointed out that there was minor patina, again an accurate description. I also wrote that the barometer was made in West Germany (as was), more than 30 years ago. If you wanted a flawless barometer, you should probably have considered buying a new one, if that were possible, although this would have cost 3-4 times the price of the barometer you bought!
