DETAILS: Ray-Ban Aviator classic style sunglasses. Bausch & Lomb USA production, probably from the early 1960's. Aviator 1/30-10K.GO 58-14. Probable reference: L0556 (not engraved). Arista frames - metal gold plated shiny. Standard size (58mm wide lenses). With original B&L RB-3 Tru Green lenses, optical glass material. Original nose-pads in clear plastic unengraved (prior to "BL" inside). "B&L-RAY-BAN-USA-LIC." engraved on top of nose bridge top-bar. "1/30-10K.GO" under nose-bridge top-bar. Both lenses TOP etched BL outside. Ray-Ban authentic replacement new unused ear-protections clear plastic. TOTAL WIDTH FRAME (outside hinges): 137 mm TEMPLE LENGTH: 125 mm LENS WIDTH: 58 mm LENS HEIGHT: 50 mm BRIDGE WIDTH: 14 mm B&L Ray-Ban vintage case natural brown leatherette with belt loop on back supplied, as shown (note internal plastic tray is missing or nonexistent). CONDITION: Very good vintage overall frames & lenses with few minor obvious signs of wear and no flaws. See last pictures for detail - lenses show few microscopic scratches, couple very tiny nicks, four or five very light small scratches and one more obvious scratch low on right side lens (highlighted in picture) - all from regular use, perfectly acceptable for a vintage item and not concerning to perfect vision (tested, luckily all marks not in the line of vision). No hard scratches, no chips, scuffs or cracks. Inside unblemished. Frames have been totaly cleaned to recover original shine and beauty with micro pitting marks remaining on some sections, but almost unnoticeable. However there are a few tiny dings on more exposed edges - all acceptable and not so noticeable. No brassing or plating wear all over. No deformations, no hard scratches or dings. No dents or scuffs. No oxidation overall. Gold plating generally well preserved ! Crisp engravings. Original shape and alignment is preserved. Hinges well adjusted - tight, stiff and moving smoothly. Nose pads excellent with slight oxidation inside, no scratches, no cracks, no yellowing. Ear pads are NEW unused (RB replacement) Screws original with minor marks and wear. Case is as new, but inner plastic tray is missing or nonexistent. No cracks or broken stitches, closing firmly with snap.
