ROTO ELVO MAF with Eluc-Maf Acromatic lens F1/11, 1938 - made in Torino, Italy.
The "Elvo" Camera, produced around 1940 by the MAF of Turin was a bakelite camera in black and brown, for 120 film, with a removable front on external tie rods, with L and P shutter speeds.
Bakelite device, 4×6 cm format on 120 format film, Elvo-MAF Acromatic 1:11 fixed focus lens, shutter with single shutter speed plus exposure B, particular construction that recalled a folding in which the lens was placed on a frame recessed in bakelite instead of the classic fabric bellows, present in the pre-war price lists.
The MAF of Turin produced cameras in thermosetting plastic.
They were then marketed by Ro-To of Turin.
This company, already active before the outbreak of the Second World War, in the immediate post-war period marketed cheap photographic equipment which it had built by small companies mostly operating in Turin or in the immediate vicinity such as MAF.
This camera is in SUPERGREAT conditions, equal to a brand new one.
It cannot be missed by any collector or passionate user of analogical camera !!
