Good overall antique condition. Wear to silvering appropriate to age and use; rim of the cover is uneven; small dings and nicks to cover; verdigris to the interior; split to base along the seam; the lower half is a bit uneven around the rim; tiny crack to rim of strainer liner.

I am sorry for the disappointment, but I believe the buyer is being unreasonable. The pendant was clearly described as "Large oval statement pendant of a prehistoric fish fossil mounted in 18ct yellow gold." When it arrived, the buyer wrote to me: "The problem is that from the description and photos you couldn't understand that it's not all gold but there is a stone in the middle". I fail to see how anyone could not understand that a fossil is not made of solid gold and Catawiki agreed with me, closing the dispute in my favour.
