This is a bronze statue of a genuine male Western Lowland Gorilla skull in true life size (1:1). This skull has been designed by Jake Richmond as part of the Sooka Collective. The sculpture is signed on the bottom. The Gorilla skull is part of Sooka’s ‘The Eternity of Remarkable Species’ collection where Sooka’s designers capture the astonishing beauty of endangered animals in a static state. Well aware of the direct impact of mankind on the environment they create respectful alternatives to the authentic vulnerable species, such as gorillas. Just as enchanting but less of an impact. The statue has been polished to turn golden.

De verzending was top en het beeld is mooi genoeg. Wel jammer dat het wat veel afwijkt van het exemplaar op de foto. Die had een mooi geschakeerde patina terwijl mijn exemplaar bijna egaal groen is.
