Beautiful terracotta votive tablet known as a tsa-tsa made during the Liao Dynasty circa 916 AD - 1125 AD in China. Sculpture depicts highly detailed Buddha with two attendants sitting on flowers, everything closed in great looking triangle form. It's a unique religious artifact used to givie a reverence to increase importance and the spiritual power of a temple. Tablets were buried or placed in relic chambers.

Very good condition - intact, without significant damage, with originally preserved sand deposits
