A lovely large antique Chinese porcelain lidded container with a central decoration ofSix Characters, Florals and Ruyi Heads, executed in a nice underglaze blue and white. On the exceptoional (low grade?) silver lid a finely chiseled Floral decoration of amazing craftsmanship. And classical decoration of geometrical circles and floral patterns on the border. Handcrafted in ancient China during the Qing dynasty, Kangxi period (ca. 1680-1700). Guaranteed original and of the stated period.
The silver lid could be from the period too!
Height: 26,0 centimeter (!!)
Condition: The objects are in overall good condition, the lid with some minor wear only, the jar with a restoration on the rim (with attached hairline). The condition is carefully checked with strong UV-light and bright translucent white light.
