Beautiful vintage condition, solid walnut wood and fully walnut veneered frame and original shellac-treated.
The removable fan backrest and seat was reupholstered new, high-quality Italian Art Deco style patterned fabric
Exceptional condition and look!

Wilhelm Knoll abandoned the use of leather on his furniture in the 1920s and instead introduced a series of colorful fabrics and achieved great success with his patented „Antimott” seating system, which combined wooden-framed armchairs with elastic straps to provide support instead of steel springs.

He also produced a series of lightweight aluminum chairs that furnished the interiors of the Zeppelin airships in use at the time.

Wilhelm Knoll’s furniture and interiors can be found in many books, including the German edition of Innen-dekoration books.t
