A lovely antique Japanese porcelain klapmuts bowl with a central decoration of a deer in a landscape, executed in a nice underglaze blue and white. In the border a classical decoration of taotie and floral patterns. Handcrafted in ancient Japan during the Edo period (1600-1868), late 17th century ca. 1680-1690. On the bottom an unglazed foot rim, showing age and material. Guaranteed original and of the stated period. Magnificent colors! Diameter: 14,3 centimeter Condition: The object is in fair condition, restored. The condition is carefully checked with strong UV-light and bright translucent white light.
