【Product details】
Presenting a remarkable artifact from June 1889 of the Meiji era, this antique copper fire bell is not only a collector's delight but also a resonant piece of Japanese history. Originating from Handa Village in the Uma District, it was once the sentinel of safety, its clangor calling to alert and protect. Its surface, engraved with the name of its steward, Ishimura Hangō, speaks to its authenticity and provenance.
While time has adorned it with a dignified patina, rust, and the marks of longevity, the bell remains in reasonable condition, as detailed in the visual documentation.
