This rare brass 45 grade Diagonal Prism painted with black hammered paint, it'is made for taking pictures with large format cameras and is in great cosmetic condition. These prisms were produced around 1920 to be placed in front of the lens to photograph at 45 degrees without pointing the camera directly at the subject and for not being seen. The diameter of the mount to put the lens is 6,4cm and the measures of the prism are 10,5x9,4x8,8cm and the diagonal is 12,5cm. The glasses are clean and clear with no haze, no fungus, no scratches, no detachment between the lenses. Some minor internal dust, that will not affect image quality. It's made all in heavy brass and the weight is over 1,250. Keep in mind to calculate the shipment cost. Perfect addition to your large format kit!
