Extremely rare series, Tove Jansson's Art cards from 1941, numbers 1-10. Tove's name on the cards. Excellent condition. It's nearly impossible to find the whole series and in this condition. This series is 5 years search result from all over Finland. These cards were printed in the middle of the war so only a small part was saved. There's only 10 different cards in the series, animal themes. Card nr 10 is Finnish Marshal Mannerheim and foxes playing cards (Stalin, Churchill and maybe Mussolini). All the other cards are linked also to the war. Tove Jansson was a great defender of peace and she often drew anti-war drawings. This Art card series from Tove Jansson is a beautiful piece from 1941 that will make a great addition to any collection. This particular series has been well-preserved and is in excellent condition, ready for display or framing.
