Chartreuse - VEP 2024 - Jaune/Yellow - Vieillissement Exceptionnellement Prolonge - 100 cl

First produced in 1963. V.E.P. (Vieillissement Exceptionnellement Prolongé) is a registered trademark specific to Chartreuse.

Composition :

Alcohol, sugar, water, plant substances (130 plants, flowers, barks, roots, spices and berries).

The bottle is a reproduction of the one used in 1840. The cork stopper and back label are sealed with wax. Each bottle is numbered. The wooden case is stamped with the symbol of the Carthusian Order.

Production :

Produced each year in limited quantities, Chartreuse V.E.P. is made using the same processes as Chartreuse Jaune. The Carthusian monks have taken care to select certain traditional yellow liqueurs which will continue to age for many years in demi-muids. The patina of time allows it to develop highly complex, long-lasting aromas.
