De Pas, D'Urbino and Lomazzi were a progressive design trio (DDL) in the 60s/70s , responsible, among other things, for the famous large leather baseball glove JOE and the transparent inflatable chairs. De Pas died in 1991. Donato D'Urbino and Paolo Lomazzi continued to work together thereafter, designing for Alessi, among others.
