A large antique beer pitcher from 1842 that was beautifully decorated with hand engravings all around.
The pitcher is made of pewter and was produced in Gothenburg, Sweden.
It has all the stamps for authentication.
Some normal signs of wear, i.e. small dents, age spots, and scratches.
No corrosion, rust, cracks, or breakage.
The general condition is lovely.
Beautiful collector's item, 182 years old, looks fantastic.
Stamped inside on the bottom:
"M4": 1842
G with a crown on top: made in Göteborg
Three crowns: Quality control - Made in Sweden.
"CPL": Makers mark
Stamped on the lid "1842" & Three Crowns.
Height: 22 cm
Width: 19 cm
Base Diameter: 13 cm
Net Weight: 1001g
