Technofix Monorail with 2 cars no. 275 - U.S.-Zone Germany 1954 Beautifully detailed lithographed narrow walled track and two futuristic monorail cars from Technofix. Tin litho toy consisting of a figure-eight track and two monorail cars. A clockwork powered lifting arm rotates and pushes each car up the incline so that the cars roll back down around to the starting position. A fixed key is attached to the underside of the sweeping arm base. Each monorail car has two slotted wheels which allow it to move down the track. Two chrome plated stabilizers on either side hold them on the track. Track walls depict parts of the city below the track. Images of European vehicles from the 1950s.
