The class system, imperialism and Protestantism are also targets for humour. Illustrated by F. Carruthers Gould, a British cartoonist known for his contributions to Punch.
Boards are bumped and scuffed, and have also suffered some staining. Netting exposed. Foxing to endpapers. Illustrations remain bright.
