Canadian loudspeaker manufacturer MIRAGE, which already caused a stir in the hi-fi world last year with the introduction of the revolutionary OMNISAT satellite system, is now also launching a number of new floorstanding loudspeakers and monitors, which, like the OMNISAT, are equipped with the patented 360-degree radiating Omniguide technology.
Mirage Omni line-up
In contrast to ordinary loudspeakers, this technology actually uses the acoustic properties of the space in which they are playing. Why? Because the OMNI loudspeakers from MIRAGE take into account the natural acoustic ratios with which our brains locate sound: namely 30% direct and 70% reflected sound. The patented Omniguide reproduces a very wide and lifelike sound field, regardless of the positioning of the loudspeakers.
The MIRAGE OMNI series consists of two floor-standing models, two monitor models, the OMNI CC center speaker and the OMNI FX surround speaker, so that both high-quality stereo and luxury home theater sets can be put together.
