Simone de Beauvoir - Le deuxième sexe [Signé par l'auteur] - 1955-1955

Considered to be the most influential work about feminism ever written, this is the 1955 2 part (leather bound) edition of ‘le deuxième sexe’ by Simone de Beauvoir.

Part 1 has an inscription signed with her name (not a signature!) and dedicated to a certain Robert. Last picture shows two different letters with almost the same message and very similar handwriting to verify the authenticity.

Also comes with a newspaper article about feminine literature written by Lillard, also a famous feminist author (couldn’t trace the source of the article.)
