Avó Sabica 2004 is an Alentejo wine produced only in exceptional years, from grapes grown exclusively in a vineyard with soils poor in granite. In order to plant it, it was necessary to use dynamite to remove rocky outcrops, and some of these stones were used to drain a watercourse. With a water table of 3-4 meters deep, water conservation provides the vine with the water it needs to properly complete the entire vegetative cycle, especially maturation.

After the combined fermentation of the Trincadeira, Aragonez and Alicante Bouschet grapes in truncated-conical vats with strict temperature control, they age for about 14 months in new 225-liter French oak barrels and for at least 3 years in the bottle in a climate-controlled chamber.

The first Avó Sabica produced was from the 2004 harvest. This wine had been completely sold out on the market for many years, a unique opportunity to acquire these bottles.
cem reis 2021 Probably the most desired Portuguese wine.
This is the wine that made the taster on the program "the wine show" cry.
Quinta do Vesúvio red enchants with its seductive floral aromas, cloves and hints of wood smoke. On the palate, rich fruits and balanced acidity stand out, while fine tannins lend an impressive structure, defining the excellence characteristic of Quinta do Vesúvio.

The Quinta do Vesúvio estate dates back to the 19th century and has belonged to the Symington family since 1989.

A magnificent Quinta in the Douro region, it covers a total of approximately 326 hectares, of which 133 are planted with vines.

The contrast between the estate’s elevations gives the wines unparalleled structure, complexity and ageing potential, as well as the preservation of traditional winemaking methods, which make Quinta do Vesúvio the only one that continues to actively create its wines with this basis. Certainly, a Quinta of enchanting and memorable beauty.
