The defining feature of these knives by Teruhide 照秀 is their beautiful hamon (刃文), a wavy pattern also seen on Japanese swords. This pattern appears along the boundary between the hard and soft steel layers, reflecting both the craftsmanship and aesthetic of the swordsmith.
