This ‘’Lulà’’ dog food bowl was designed by Miriam Mirri in 2009 for Alessi.

Lulà: in the dog bowl there's a mountain of food to eat little by little. “Lulà, designed by Miriam Mirri, is part of the family of pet objects by Alessi. The formal language loaded with references to affectiveness and the “Children Code '' is used here to create an object for our four-legged friends. The mountaintop has the double task of protecting the food and preventing “Lulà” from eating all day.

“Lulà” is made up of 3 principal parts, a plastic base in truncated conical shape, with 3 exceptionally stable feet in silicone rubber on which rests the bowl itself, made of mirrored stainless steel, hygienic and easy to clean. These two principal parts are accompanied by a third, an outer lid which, as well as completing the shape in a pleasing manner, also has a number of important functions like protecting leftover food, or preventing a puppy from eating too much. The lid handle is a figure of a little dog howling at the moon (or maybe he’s just hungry). The dog figure is decorated with colours made directly in the moulding of the different components. The base of “Lulà” has a raised lip that makes the bowl easy to hold. A similar, smaller lip is used between the base and the steel bowl so that the bowl itself can easily and cleanly be removed. The perfect item, not only for our dogs.

This ‘’Lulà’’ dog bowl is completely new and has never been used. Delivered with original packaging and manuals.

About Miriam Mirri:
The Italian designer Miriam Mirri (1964) has collaborated with the Branson-Coates Architecture Office in London. She designed table and pet care accessories. In 2006, she won the Fritz Henkel Award for Innovation with her design team. She has participated in the Triennale Design Museum, The New Italian Design, Triennale di Milano, and D come Design. Some of her works are included in the International Design Yearbook 2005.
