Se oversættelsePatrice Molinard, Jean Paul Clebert - Paris Insolite (FIRST PRINTING) - 1954
Nr. 90009177
HIGHLY IMPRESSIVE FRENCH PHOTOBOOK from 1954 and TRUE FIRST PRINTING of the edition with the 115 photos by Patrice Molinard.
"Paris Insolite" was published 1952, so two years before, for the first time as pure "text version".
Hans-Michael Koetzle, "Eyes on Paris. Paris im Fotobuch. 1890 bis heute" ("Paris in
Photobooks. 1890 until today"), page 260 and 261
A plunge into an underworld Paris, popular and engulfed, by a tramp, companion of Robert Doisneau and other pillars of poetic Paris. An exceptional text worthy of Nicolas Bouvier.
A collector's edition: a facsimile of the original edition designed by Robert Massin.
BREATH-TAKING PHOTOGRAVURE PRINTING.
This novel-chronicle of that title ("Paris Insolite") was first published in 1952. The author didn't offer this eulogy of the Cloche in Paris to the Musée de l'Homme, as he had longed to do, but to Denoël, publisher at the time of Calaferte, Giraud, Cendrars, Malaparte.
A year after the book came out, the author went back to the place with a photographer, Patrice Molinard, who brought back 115 raw and beautiful documents. It is these photos of a "Robert Doisneau without pathos" that illustrate the present edition.

Fantastic photobook in the true first printing from 1954 with the great photos by Patrice Molinard.
In the 1950s, Jean-Paul Clébert turned his wanderings through Paris into epic, sensitive journeys. "Crossing Paris is slower than crossing a département", he warned as he entered the city. In fact, it takes him four months to go from one end of the fourth arrondissement to the other.
Clébert doesn't follow an itinerary, as a guidebook would, but wanders us through his needs (sleeping... eating... making love), his desires, his encounters and his thousand odd jobs: quantity surveyor, insurance agent, painter, L'Intran salesman... He got to know Paris through "his hands, his nostrils and his buttocks". This is the city seen from a very practical point of view: that of a tramp living on less than nothing. And he translates that into breathtaking writing: long, rhythmic sentences; vividly sketched portraits; a brutal poetic charge.

:) also bitte immer schön fair bleiben! danke!
fast, clean delivery, thank you very much.
