Up for auction is a nice and RARE 1943 copy of the United States Army Technical Manual TM 30-603 entitled "Italian Phrase book". It covers many useful Italian words and phrases. These booklets were issued to the troops just prior to the invasion of Europe, to facilitate interrogation and communication of/between Italian nationals, resistance members, etc.It is in good condition for its age; the contents are also in good condition. The photo's outside make the booklet actually look more yellow than it actually is. It is nicely named on the cover to gardner a dean, captain with the infantry. See photo's.
