A superb maya cylinder decorated in the body with three square-shaped registers with seated chiefs inside. Decorative bands with red, cream and brown squares above and below. Decorative climbing plants between the registers. Maya Classic Period, 600-900 AD. Guatemala-Mexico
Dimensions: 20,50 x 17,50 cm.
Condition: Professionally restored over fracture lines. Good overall condition.
Provenance: Acquired at a french auction house. Formerly Doctor Jean Redor collection, France. Acquired at Rennes Enchères, 5th may 2014, lot 383.

be requested by us, This process can take beteen 1 and 2 months.
