Very beautiful panoramas of Camposanto in Genoa (Italy) by very famous 19th Century photographer Alfredo Noack (Italian, born Germany 1833 - 1896). Ca. 1870s. Iconic works of the artist, present in museums and used for postcards. Two albumen prints applied recto/verso on card. Recto distant view of the Monumental Cemetery of Staglieno, a large cemetery complex enclosed by walls on all four sides. An archway below a pediment forms the entrance to the complex. Noack Genoa) and titled in negative, lower edge of the print. Each Noack's catalogue numbered in the image lower right corner. Both located and titled in old ink inscription on card, upper right corner, above image. Both prints preserved in excellent conditions, strong and crisp image, with high sharpness of details. Card very well preserved, with no issue, occasional minor unnoticeable stains. Very good edges and corners. Dimensions of the prints - 28 x 22.5 cm each. Dimensions of mounting card - 36 x 30 cm.
