Papalin is a project dedicated to blends conceived by Luca Gargano, with the aim of combining rums from a Caribbean island that have been entirely produced and aged in distilleries. The first release, Papalin Jamaica 7 Y.O. Navy Proof, is dedicated to Jamaica. At the time of the first blends the distilleries of origin were never indicated on the labels, while for Papalin Jamaica it was decided to explicitly say that the blend was made with Hampden and Worthy Park, both aged for at least 7 years. The rum has been reduced to 57.18% ABV, as a tribute to the historic gradations of the blends created for the British Navy.
