Old fine 4/4 russian violin, labeled Rigat Rubus, SPetersburg 1850 (cyrillic letters). The instrument is in used condition with some tears and wears but no cracks. The whole length of the violin is 590 mm and the back 357 mm. The width of the upper bouts ca.: 163 mm; middle bouts ca.: 110 mm; lower bouts ca.: 204 mm. Full size. The top is a strong medium grained alpine spruce. The two pieces back is softly flamed maple. The purfling is professionally executed, the edges are masterfully done. The varnish of golden brown color remains in good condition. All items are sold as they are pictured in the photographs. Shipping worldwide insured
